On 26 June, Avans Hogeschool is organising the Multiplier Event of INTEGRES. In the INTEGRES project, Avans Hogeschool, HOGENT (Belgium), Università di Bologna (Italy), Université catholique de Lille (France) and Technological University Dublin (Ireland) have developed teaching materials that teach students integrated reporting. The Centre of Expertise Wellbeing Economy and New Entrepreneurship (CoE BWNO) is coordinator of this collaborative project on behalf of Avans University of Applied Sciences.
Climate change, biodiversity loss and resource and labour shortages have already led to a public debate on whether we are taking good care of our planet.
Worldwide, researchers, including those at CoE BWNO, are searching for new definitions of prosperity. Companies that want to be successful in the 21st century must stop causing harm and must create social value and be transparent about it. To this end, today’s finance and accountancy students need to be trained as financial specialists with a broad perspective. And realise that value cannot be created without recognising the value of nature and people.
The Multiplier Event is the final event of the project. Teachers, researchers, financial specialists from large companies and SMEs, accounting firms and many other financial experts will come together to share the results of INTEGRES.
