Maurice Boot

After a career in Corporate Finance and Business Administration, both salaried and self-employed, Maurice switched to education in 2017 as a lecturer in International Business. In this role, he is involved in both undergraduate education development and Avans HBO Master’s education. Since 2024, he has additionally joined CoE BWNO as a lecturer-researcher to further help shape research on sustainable entrepreneurship

Research

• Within the project Hy-success, Maurice researches the decision-making process around sustainable capital investments and instruments to support and promote this process.

Career

• In addition to business economics at Tilburg University and the Master Finance & Control at Maastricht University, Maurice has taken various industry and education related courses. During his career in business he gained experience in guiding organizations in complex financial situations and transitions in an international playing field. He currently brings this experience to his role as a teacher, educational developer and researcher.
